What is Oud/Bakhoor?

Bakhoor (or Bakhur) is an Arabic term meaning “fumes,” traditionally used to perfume homes with natural incense. Safana Bakhoor is crafted from agarwood chips, crushed and infused with pure oud oils and other aromatic notes such as musk, amber, rose, and saffron.

Traditionally, bakhoor is burned over charcoal in a Mabkhara (Arabic incense burner). For a gentle aromatic experience, we recommend using an oil burner, which slowly releases the fragrance throughout your home.
